Tammy and I reconnected at the 20 year reunion. We spent some time together and she was very patient with my rusty sign language skills. She was a very sweet person and always hopeful. She constantly asked me to drive to Missouri to buy lottery tickets (pre Ok lottery days!) because she was just sure she was destined to win. I'm very glad I had a chance to know her post-Edison.

With a legally deaf grandfather and a friend like Tammy I learned alot about the difficulties of being hearing impaired. Tammy wanted to be friends with all of us and never stopped trying.
